24 April 2016
I’ve a few moments of rest and relaxation sitting in the garden of our new home here in Cornwall.
Today I woke in Yorkshire, said good bye to Sam as he set off on a journey that he thought might end on the back of a recovery lorry.
Alice our ‘faithful’ VW has not been faithful for any journey that included the two of us. Just as well that the drive from York to Camelford would be Sam alone; he left at 6:30am and text me from a service station on A30 about 40 mins ago so the dogs, cats and I wait for their arrival.
This week as seen us drive to Cornwall 3 times and two rides back up. Moving a home, workshop, studio and four pets 350ish miles from Yorkshire to Cornwall has been exhausting.
Despite leaving Yorkshire more than 3 hours before me and the full collection of cats and dogs, we knew that I would be sitting here waiting and hoping that they will finally arrive.
